Product Description
Sand Water Gravel Classifier Grit Separator SS304 Wastewater Treatment Plant Grit Removal
Product Overview
The Grit Separator (Grit Classifier) is a key device used in wastewater treatment systems to separate sand, grit, and other heavy inorganic particles from water. It effectively reduces wear and damage to downstream equipment such as pumps, clarifiers, and sludge treatment units. This equipment ensures the stable operation of the entire wastewater treatment process by removing abrasive particles early in the process.
Working Principle
The wastewater containing grit flows into the grit separator. Under the influence of gravity, the heavier particles such as sand and gravel settle to the bottom of the tank, while the lighter organic matter and water flow out. The settled grit is conveyed by a screw (or scraper) to the discharge outlet, where it is dewatered and discharged, achieving efficient grit-water separation.
Main Components
  • Separation Tank: Stainless steel structure designed for grit settling and separation.
  • Screw Conveyor: Transports settled grit from the bottom to the outlet and performs dewatering.
  • Drive Unit: Includes motor and gearbox to power the screw.
  • Water Inlet and Outlet: Optimized flow design ensures stable hydraulic performance.
  • Control Panel (optional): Provides automatic control of operation and overload protection.
Features
  • High separation efficiency and low organic content in discharged grit.
  • Compact design with easy installation and maintenance.
  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction (SS304 / SS316 optional).
  • Energy-saving operation with low power consumption.
  • Customizable size and screw inclination angle according to project requirements.
  • Optional automatic control system for continuous operation.
Applications
  • Municipal wastewater treatment plants
  • Industrial wastewater treatment systems
  • Slaughterhouses and food processing plants
  • Paper mills and chemical plants
  • Pretreatment systems for sewage pumping stations
  • 8m – 60m Center Drive Sludge Scraper Vertical Shaft Clarifier Scraper

8m – 60m Center Drive Sludge Scraper Vertical Shaft Clarifier Scraper Vertical Shaft Center-Drive Sludge Scraper Product Overview The Vertical Shaft Central Drive Sludge Scraper is designed for large circular clarifiers and thickeners, providing efficient sludge collection and discharge. A vertical rack structure supports the central drive unit, which transmits torque through a vertical shaft to the scraper arms. It ensures smooth operation, uniform torque distribution, and

  • Center Drive Sludge Scraper 0.2 – 2.0 M/Min Rotating Sludge Scraper

Center Drive Sludge Scraper 0.2 – 2.0 M/Min Rotating Sludge Scraper Product Overview The Central Drive Sludge Scraper is designed for circular sedimentation and thickening tanks to collect and discharge settled sludge from the tank bottom. Driven by a central gearbox, the scraper arms rotate slowly, pushing sludge toward the central hopper for discharge, while optional skimmers remove surface scum. It features simple structure, reliable operation, and easy maintenance, making

  • 50 – 5000 M3/H Circular Sedimentation Tank Wastewater Treatment Final Settling Tank

50 – 5000 M3/H Circular Sedimentation Tank Wastewater Treatment Final Settling Tank Product Overview The Sedimentation Tank is a crucial unit in water and wastewater treatment systems. It removes suspended solids from raw water through gravity settling, allowing heavier particles to accumulate at the bottom while clarified water flows out from the top. This process effectively reduces the load on downstream filtration and biological treatment units, ensuring stable and
