The Peripheral Drive Sludge Scraper is a continuous sludge and scum removal system designed for large circular sedimentation tanks. Driven from the periphery around a central column, the scraper arms rotate slowly to efficiently collect sludge from the bottom and skim scum from the surface. This system offers reliable performance with low maintenance requirements, making it ideal for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications.
The scraper system consists of a working bridge, central column, drive unit, scraper arms, and scum removal components. The drive motor and gearbox rotate the arms around the tank center while bottom scrapers push settled sludge to the central hopper. Surface skimmers simultaneously move scum to the scum trough. Sludge is discharged through a pipe system and scum is removed by overflow or pumping, ensuring continuous sedimentation and automatic sludge removal.

50 – 5000 M3/H Circular Sedimentation Tank Wastewater Treatment Final Settling Tank
50 – 5000 M3/H Circular Sedimentation Tank Wastewater Treatment Final Settling Tank Product Overview The Sedimentation Tank is a crucial unit in water and wastewater treatment systems. It removes suspended solids from raw water through gravity settling, allowing heavier particles to accumulate at the bottom while clarified water flows out from the top. This process effectively reduces the load on downstream filtration and biological treatment units, ensuring stable and
